Winter Makeup

I feel like it’s been ages since I’ve last done a makeup look. I recently got a couple of new makeup products that I really like and want to share with you. For this Winter makeup look I used products from the brands Estée Lauder, Kyliecosmetics, Tom Ford Beauty, Clarins and Deborah Milanoall-copy

I always like to start by doing my eye makeup because you can clean the area up nicely afterwards with the foundation. Just a couple of weeks ago I got this amazing eyeshadow palette from Clarins which is called The Essentials. As you can see in the images above and below the palette’s packaging is absolutely gorgeous. What I also love is that it comes with a card telling you which shades to use for which areas.clrains-with-copy

For my look today I started off with the lightest shade number 1 and applied it with a fluffy blending brush all over my eyelid. Again with the fluffy brush I used number 3 a lovely mauve in the crease of my eyelid. I filled in the rest of my eyelid below the crease with a flat brush and the sparkly shade 10. Also with the number 10 and the flat brush I coloured right below my waterline. clrains-without-copy

Personally I just love the classic cat wing so naturally I drew one with the Eyeliner Puro in black by Deborah Milano. With the felt-tip it’s quite easy to draw a precise line without making too much of a mess. 🙂

After doing the eye makeup I like getting the foundation out of the way as this is my least favourite part of doing my makeup. What makes it a lot easier though is the new Estée Lauder Double Wear Nude Cushion Stick Radiant Makeup. All you need to do is turn the stick and the perfect amount of product comes out into a super soft cushion. It’s really easy to apply and blends in with your skin tone wonderfully. As I like to reapply on the go I’m glad the cushion is incorporated because I hate having to take my Beauty Blender with me separately.foundation-copy

Deborah Milano doesn’t only have great eyeliner but also a very good powder called Dress Me Perfect Loose Powder. It comes with an applicator which again is awesome for on the go but when I do my makeup at home I like using a big powder brush. kylie-copy

My favourite part has always been the lips. As any massive lipstick fan I of course am in love with Kyliecosmetics and have every lip kit from her site. 🙂 Today however I wanted to try the stunning Tom Ford Beauty lipstick Nicholas from the line Lips & Boys. This line has 25 gorgeous new shades and they all come in this luxurious and cute miniature design. All the shades are named after Tom Ford’s role models. Can you guess who the shade Nicholas is named after? As I love using a lipliner with lipstick I noticed that the shade Leo from Kyliecosmetics is quite similar. Before applying the creamy and highly pigmented lipstick I used the lipliner from the Leo lip kit. portrait-copy

And that’s it for my Winter makeup. 🙂

What do you think of the Clarins The Essentials palette and the Tom Ford Nicholas lipstick?

Love,
