I hope you’ve had a nice and relaxing weekend because I sure have! 🙂 On Sunday I treated myself to some wellness with the Dermovia Lace Your Face Shapewear Facial Mask and a lovely manicure with the Zoya Naked Manicure.
First I would like to talk about the Dermovia Facial Masks though. This unique compression cotton lace face mask is absolutely amazing. First of all I’d like to state that all Dermovia masks are formulated without parabens, sulfates, fragrances, synthetics, chemicals, gluten and dyes and are made of 100% natural biodegradable cotton and are also not tested on animals. Another great thing about these new masks is that you can use them twice within 48 hours. For more information on how to reuse them visit Dermovia.
There are eight different types of masks:
Calming Chamomile: For All/Sensitive Skin. Soothes & Balances
Smoothing Peptides: For Anti-Aging. Reduces & Prevents Wrinkles
Hydrating Rose Water: For All Skin. Moisturizes & Fights Aging
Brightening Bearberry: For Dark Spots. Lightens & Diminishes
Healing Yogurt Milk: For Red/Blemished Skin. Strengthens & Renews
Exfoliating Papaya: For All Skin. Resurfaces & Refines
Clarifying Mulberry Leaf: For Normal/Oily Skin. Detoxifies & Shrinks Pores
Rejuvenating Collagen: For Dry/Aging Skin. Tightens & Revives
You can buy all eight Dermovia Masks here.
How To Use:
Cleanse and dry face. Remove mask and carefully unfold.
Press lace-side onto face. Peel off outer shell. Discard.
Line up holes with eyes, nose, and mouth.
Place ear slits securely around ears.
Pull ends of chin strap up and loop over ears.
Wear mask for 15+ minutes. Discard or reuse. Do not rinse face. Massage serum into skin.
I got to try the Smoothing Peptides, Rejuvenating Collagen and the Hydrating Rose Water mask and loved all three of them! The serum is very viscous and cool on the skin. They also all smell divine and the lace is very comfortable. What’s also great is that it doesn’t drop off and you can actually do things during the 15 minutes. The only thing I didn’t like was that when I used the mask the first time some of the serum dripped down. So eventually I decided to just lie down and relax which was nice too. After taking the mask off, the skin was very hydrated and felt super smooth. The Dermovia Lace Your Face masks are definitely a 2016 must-have. 🙂
I’ve also written a post about the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask in the Estée Lauder Spring/Summer 2016 post.
On my relaxing wellness Sunday I also treated myself to a manicure using Zoya’s Naked Manicure set. Naked Manicure is an easy system which instantly improves the appearance of damaged and/or discoloured nails. In the long term it improves the condition, strength and flexibility of the nail with vitamins, proteins and botanicals.
1. Prep the nail by shaping, gently buffing and cleaning up cuticles.
2. Apply Naked Base.
3. Select the Perfector first coat. Use lavender for discoloration. If layering more than one shade, use the brighter/stronger shade first.
4. Apply the selected Perfector second coat. If between shades, the second coat is for the color that softens or tones the base color.
5. Apply Tip Perfector along free edge of the nail to brighten, fill and finish.
6. Activate Satin Seal by gently rolling the bottle between hands for twenty seconds.
7. Apply one coat of Satin Seal to blend, blur and seal the look creating the closest ever natural nail finish. Compatible with Zoya Fast Drops.
8. For an optional shiny finish, apply one coat of Glossy Seal over Satin Seal.
For the natural nail look above (no photoshop) I started off with the Naked Base and then applied one coat of Lavender Perfector and one of Mauve Perfector. I finished it off with one coat of the Satin Seal and one of the Glossy Seal.
I was amazed at how gorgeous but still natural the nails looked and would recommend the Zoya Naked Manicure especially when your nails are recovering from gel. This way your nails will still look beautiful even without the gel.
You can buy the Naked Manicure sets here.
Because I always wear a coloured nail polish though I decided to use one of these gorgeous three Zoya colours. From left to right:
Desiree: A classic sable brown cream that has just enough gray to keep it cool in tone.
Hannah: A clear, classic red cream with a balanced (neutral) undertone.
Charli: A dusty taupe cream that has a hint of green, but is still a perfect neutral.
As I love a classic bold red I decided to go with Hannah. I’ve already talked about Zoya nail polishes in these two posts if you want to know more about the brand: Zoya Color Lock System and Limited Edition Petals Sets.
