Lately I’ve really been getting into posting about fashion on Instagram. One of the brands I wore in my last photoshoot however I’d like to tell you about in more detail which is why today I’ll be posting my newest fashion shots in a blog post.
The brand I’m talking about is called Troo. Troo is a fashion company that mainly sells luxurious lingerie but also some amazing day wear clothes such as the jacket and cardigan I’m wearing in the following photos. The amazing thing about Troo is that all the pieces are designed and handmade in South Africa. The main focus of Troo is to support slow, responsible fashion and to promote a more sustainable lifestyle but also to create timeless, sexy and beautiful clothes that you can enjoy for a very long time.
The gorgeous grey cardigan I’m wearing is from the Milles Collins Collection. Behind Milles Collins is a woman called Ines and a dressmaker called Antoinette who met in Rwanda. After this initial meeting the two designers decided to create a fashion label in Africa. Today the label represents the creativity, strength and culture of the African spirit.
The stunning and detailed pink and blue statement jacket which is absolutely perfect for autumn is from the Found. Collection. This South African label was created in 2015 by Lisa Carinus and Gitte Muller. The two met at University and were instantly connected by their love for beauty, fashion and design. The trendy collection is very bold, feminine and timeless.
I love the story behind these pieces and think it is so important for the future of our world that we invest in good quality, responsibly made and not mass produced fashion.
Besides the Troo clothes I’m also wearing my awesome new Skechers. They’re the Flex Appeal 2.0 with Air-Cooled Memory Foam in the color Grey/Red. The shoes are super light and flexibel which makes them very comfortable. You can either use them for working out at the gym or as a handy lifestyle sneaker for on the go.
The jewellery I’m wearing which I think matches these two autumn looks superbly are from Phantasya. Phantasya has an array of stunning pieces which are all set with dazzling Swarovski elements.
Lastly I’d like to thank the Lashbar in Zurich which is responsible for my awesome eyebrows and lash extensions which both make my life so much easier!
Enough chitchat. Let’s take a look at the outfits!
