Scholl is one of my favourite brands when it comes to manicures and pedicures. I find that they have amazing products at a great price so that anyone can turn their home into a professional nail salon. Scholl has brought out a bunch of new products in 2016 and I would like to introduce them to you today.
I’d like to start off with their Velvet Smooth Electronic Nail Care System which used to be only available in blue but now you can get it in pink as well! 🙂 When I got the blue Nail Care System I made a tutorial which you can watch here.
I love using the Velvet Smooth Electronic Nail Care System in my weekly nail care routine because I am never without nail polish and thus my nails used to be very dry. Since I use the Nail Care System regularly I can smooth out my nails and they are a lot healthier especially since I apply the Nail Oil. I also like how handy and easy it is to use. The only annoying thing is that you have to replace the batteries every now and then which you don’t need to do with the next product I’m going to show you.
The Velvet Smooth Pedi Wet & Dry by Scholl is very similar to the Velvet Smooth Express Pedi (see my post here) but with two major differences. The Velvet Smooth Pedi Wet & Dry doesn’t need any batteries but gets charged with a USB cable and is completely waterproof which means you can use it in the shower or bathtub.
I’ve also made a short video on the new Wet & Dry Pedi. In the video you’ll see I’m using the Intensiv Serum to hydrate the feet afterwards. You can find it here.
I’m really glad Scholl made a waterproof version because I always forgot to use the Express Pedi and now I can just leave it in the shower and it belongs to my routine. It’s also great because any skin cells immediately get washed away. Also as I mentioned above I am a huge fan of anything rechargeable!
The last product I got to test was their Gel Activ Everyday. On average a human being walks around the earth three times during their lifetime which puts a major strain on our feet. Scholl created three sets of insoles with the innovative GelActiv® technology so that you no longer have tired and aching feet by the end of the day. The three insole sets are made up of GelActiv® Everyday, GelActiv® Sport and GelActiv® Work.
I got GelActiv® Everyday and am absolutely amazed by how good they work! I went on a city trip to Amsterdam last weekend and wore them all day long. Usually when I walk around that much my feet start aching by lunchtime but with the Scholl insoles I lasted until about 4pm before my feet started hurting. If you have a pair of sneakers you often wear I’d definitely recommend putting the GelActiv® insoles in them. It’s worth it!
Bottom line I’m a major Scholl fan and their new products for 2016 just made me love them a whole lot more. My personal highlight would be the new Scholl Velvet Smooth Pedi Wet & Dry though because I love that you can charge it and use it in the shower or bathtub.
