We all know the feeling when we’ve had a long day and an even longer night. We feel tired and stressed and our skin is showing it. It isn’t just stress and not catching enough sleep though that make life hard for our skin but also the way we eat, smoking, alcohol consumption, pollution, uv rays amongst many other things. To help your skin gain back it’s youth, flexibility and health Vichy has developed a new line of skin care products called Idealia. Their concept is to work with superfoods which are natural and help our immune system. The superfoods in the Idealia products are black tea extract and polyphenols from blueberries. Blueberries have a massive amount of antioxidants. The black tea improves the quality of the skin. Idealia also contains corn adenosine which helps boost your skin cells energy. Enough about the way Idealia works though and lets have a look at three of Vichy’s new products. For first thing in the morning to get that gorgeous glowing skin Idealia has a energising day cream which is full of nutrients that will help your skin brave the day’s stress. The product is super creamy, fresh and silky which they achieve by combining the freshness of a gel and the comfort of a cream. As with all Vichy Idealia products this cream smells heavenly. My favourite little bonus with this product is that it also reduces the visibility of pores! As you know I highly value a good skin cleansing ritual so naturally I was excited to try the Radiance Activating Night Peeling Care. This peeling eliminates dead skin cells and boosts the skin’s regeneration. The peeling contains 4% glycol acid which peels the skin so gently that it can even be used on sensitive skin. All you need to do is apply it to your clean face with a cotton pad. If you like you can also use a night cream afterwards.
Lastly I got to give the Idealia Serum a try. This product is packed with antioxidants from citrus flavonoids, energising adenosine and liquorice root extract to speed up the transformations process back to your ideal skin. The texture of the serum is quite liquid, not sticky and it sinks in immediately. I like to apply it in the mornings and evenings before applying my day or night cream.
