Two years ago my friends gave me a three month Pink Box subscription for my Birthday. From the first moment I saw the cute pink coloured box waiting for me in my letterbox I’ve been in love with this gorgeous way of trying out the newest beauty trends. Now after several years I got the March 2016 Pink Box and would like to show you all its awesomeness.
First of all I’d like to highlight that the Pink Box experience doesn’t just start with getting a box packed with beauty products, but with the enjoyable sensation of finding a parcel in your letterbox, the beautifully designed package, which makes you feel special and the excitement of being surprised with various new products.
After opening the hot pink lid you’ll find the products neatly wrapped in white tissue paper and a silky pink ribbon. It also always comes with a little pamphlet in which you’ll find a short description of the products and how much they cost.
On to the content. Pink Box works with tons of companies which include some of my favourites such as Alessandro, Ciaté, Covergirl, Filabé, Kérastase, Lush, Maybelline, Yankee Candle and so many more. You can find their complete brand overview here.
In this month’s Pink Box I first of all would like to show you the Colgate MaxWhite Expert White toothpaste which all you Germany’s Next Topmodel watchers out there surely know from the advertisement. For years now I’ve seen the advert but for some reason never bought it although I was interested in it. So I was very excited to find the Colgate toothpaste in the box.
I must admit that I have had my teeth bleached and have used one or the other toothpaste to maintain the whiter shade for as long as possible. Different to other whitening toothpastes though which only whiten the surface, Colgate MaxWhite Expert White brightens more deeply.
The second goodie is the Rexona Active Shield Compressed Deo Spray. I have already bought the Rexona Cotton Dry Compressed Deo Spray and am very impressed. I especially like that the cans are now half the size of the old ones but last the same amount of time. They emanate substantially less CO2 and use a lot less aluminium. It’s also a great way to save space in your bathroom or handbag. 🙂 Besides the eco-friendliness the naturally fresh citrus aroma and the motion sense technology keep you protected for hours on end.
The Papanga Spiral Hairbands have been all the rage for a while now. Many of my friends wear them but I never tried them because I had the feeling that they’d be rather uncomfortable and annoying. However Papanga has taught me better than to judge prematurely. The hairbands, which can also be styled as bracelets, are super comfortable and aren’t as tight as normal elastic hairbands. Besides being astoundingly handy they also look trendy in their various colours. I’m all in on this trend now!
Lastly the box contained the Vichy Ideal Body Serum-Milk and the Gerda Spillmann Skinfood Ultra Vital. To be honest I’ve tried so many different body milks and lotions that I have a pretty high standard. Nevertheless the Vichy Serum has just earned a spot in my favourites list due to the light, creamy and smooth texture, its delicious scent and last but not least its quality to sink in to the skin in the blink of an eye. As you can see in the swatch below the serum has a peachy colour with a hint of sparkle to make any girl feel like a princess. 🙂
The Gerda Spillmann Skinfood Ultra Vital is a moisturising cream for all skin types. The day and night cream which is designed especially for younger skin is enriched with Swiss edelweiss and avocado extracts. Here also I must say that this is a very high quality product which leaves you feeling luxuriously pampered.
To conclude, I am thoroughly convinced that the Pink Box is worth its every penny. It’s a joyous experience from beginning to end and I can only recommend it to everyone who loves beauty products, treating yourself and most importantly feeling special.
Speaking of which, I am currently hosting a giveaway where you have the chance of winning the Covergirl Superduo set. You can participate here.
Have you ever tried the Pink Box? If yes, are you as amazed by it as I am?
