The most important part of any beauty routine is in my opinion cleansing your face properly. Unfortunately scrubbing your skin with a flannel and some soap doesn’t get rid of all the dirt and grime and is certainly damaging to the skin as well. That’s why I have been eyeing the Philips VisaPure Essential face cleansing brush for a while now. A couple of weeks I finally got it and have been using it every single day since. Today I will be reviewing it for you guys.
First of all however let me explain to you what the Philips VisaPure Essential device does exactly. The VisaPure is a gentle facial cleansing device which massages the skin to remove makeup, grime and sebum. It also helps prevent and clear up your face from acne. The VisaPure is ten times more effective than just cleaning your face by hand as you can see in this great video.
Now that you know what the VisaPure device does and how effectively it removes residue I’m going to unbox the product for you.
As you can see in the image above the Philips VisaPure Essential includes the waterproof facial cleanser, one normal brush head, a brush head cap and the charger cable. The VisaPure Essential only comes with one brush head but you can buy other ones depending on your skin’s requirements. Besides other brush heads the VisaPure line also has a huge variety of different facial cleansing devices which you can check out here. The battery lasts for up to 20 minutes before you need to recharge it with the charger cable. In the photo below you can see how to connect the device to the charger cable.
As I mentioned above I have now been using the VisaPure for a couple of weeks and I must say that it is everything I had hoped for. All you need to do is splash your face with some water and/or apply some cleansing foam before gently working your way across your face with the cleanser brush. The VisaPure is very gentle and doesn’t harm the skin. At first I wasn’t sure whether the gentle brush would really get rid of all the makeup, dirt and sebum but all my doubts were completely unnecessary. When I used to clean my face with toner after having manually washed it, my wipe would always still be covered in remaining makeup. Now the toner doesn’t pick up any left over dirt at all! Another thing I absolutely love about the device is that it is waterproof. I always wash my face in the shower so it’s a major benefit that I can use the VisaPure there as well.
One option is to just splash your face with water prior to using the facial cleanser brush but personally I like to use a cleansing foam as well. At the moment I am using the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Foam with my VisaPure. In my July Favourites Post 2016 I already talked about this cleanser if you’d like to know more about it.
All in all I can only say that I am totally in love with my Philips VisaPure Essential. The only thing it lacks is different speeds but there are other VisaPure devices which have other speed levels so I’ll have to check them out next. Apart from that though I highly recommend it especially as it’s so thorough, fast and convenient thanks to it being waterproof.
