Mondays aren’t always fun. Especially not a grey and cold one like today. There are a few little lifesavers though which can make it worth getting up for the worst of Mondays.
Before I even drink my cup of tea in the morning I like to wash my face and apply a good face and eye cream. At the moment I am a huge fan of GG’s True Organics Elder Rich Moisture Cream. All of GG’s True Organics products are vegan and work with elder oil, extract and water. I get really dry skin in Winter which is why I chose the Rich Moisture Cream because it’s especially designed to hydrate, soothe and revive thirsty skin.
Another one of my morning favourites are eye cremes that come with a little metal applicator as they instantly revive my skin and give me a little morning kick. The one I’m currently using is Estée Lauder’s Revitalizing Supreme+ Global Anti-Aging Power Eye Gel. This multi-action, fatigue-fighting eye treatment visibly firms and reduces lines, wrinkles and puffiness and brightens dark circles. I always apply the gel in the mornings and evenings by gently massaging it in with the cooling massage tip.
Another thing that gets me out of bed every morning is the knowledge that I get to wear an awesome lipstick. My two new favourites are from the Laura Mercier Joie de Vivre collection. The two limited edition Velour Lovers Lip Colour shades in the image above are from left to right Joy and Happy. Both are highly pigmented, moisturising lip colours with a matte, metallic finish.
You can also see me wearing the gorgeous Classy St Mawes Daniel Wellington watch with the cute Valentine’s Day charm. With the code ROUGEDIAMATS you get 15% off on www.danielwellington.com. If you buy a watch with a leather band you’ll also get the sweet charm for free as well for a limited time only.
Lastly no morning routine would be complete without a spritz of a delicious perfume. These cute little pieces are by Betty Barclay and are called pure pastel mint and pure pastel lemon. Both scents will give you that fresh kick to get going in the morning.
