Isn’t the weather just amazing! I’ve been trying to soak up as much Vitamin D as possible today. One thing I love doing on a relaxing and wonderful day like today is treat myself to a luxurious face mask. Recently I’ve been pretty much addicted to them! 🙂 In this post I will show you a bunch of my favourite face masks and the different benefits they have. I’d like to start with a brand I recently discovered at a Marionnaud event. It’s a brand called Leaders that produces its products in Switzerland. All Leaders face masks contain amazing natural Swiss ingredients which give your skin a fresh, relaxed and energised look. The first four I’d like to introduce you to you can see in the image above. On the far left is the What happened last night? mask which is the perfect after-party mask. It’s a refreshing and energy boosting mask. Next is Break up with your EX-skin cells which is an exfoliating and smoothing mask. Relax It’s Zen Time! is a soothing and anti-stress mask. On the far right you can see Too much Fun in the Sun?. This mask is perfect for repairing your skin after catching a bit too much Vitamin D. 🙂 Also from the brand Leaders are the Amazonian Acai Revitalizing Mask and the Tropical Andiroba Nutrition Mask. The Revitalizing Mask contains acai berries from the amazon which strengthen the skin’s immune system. The Nutrition Mask is packed with tropical andiroba oil which makes the skin super smooth and youthful. All of these masks I usually leave on for roughly twenty minutes and be sure to massage in the leftover serum at the end of the treatment. As you can see all the Leaders masks contain amazing natural ingredients that give your skin that gorgeous Summer glow.
Now I’d like to talk about to masks that aren’t your typical face mask. On the left you can see Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery Eye Mask. Around the eyes our skin is a lot thinner and more sensitive than in the rest of the face so it is super important to take special care of this area. These power pads are soaked in a highly concentrated serum which supports the skin’s own repair mechanisms. To use the pads you need to first push the liquid towards the pad and then apply them below your eyes. Make sure to use them once a week at night for ten minutes and if you want an extra freshness boost place them in the fridge before applying.
Another really cool mask is Rodial’s dragon’s blood lip mask which you can also get at Marionnaud. This is a moisture-rich plumping bio-cellulose lip mask that promises to plump and hydrate your lips with hyaluronic acid and dragon’s blood extract. The results are smoother and younger looking lips.
Lastly I’d like to show you the Youth Boost and the Moisture Booth masks from Rituals. Youth Boost is an anti-ageing sheet mask which helps restore youthful suppleness and prevents first signs of ageing. Moisture Boost as the name already says is a mask that immediately replenishes dehydrated skin. As with most masks you should use them once a week for twenty minutes.
Are you such a huge face mask fan as I am?
