One of our many struggles in life is trying to keep those pesky wrinkles at bay and getting rid of the ones that have already surfaced. L’Oréal Paris has a new product called Revitalift Filler [HA] Day which promises to make the skin look firmer and visibly reduce wrinkles. I am usually quite sceptical with anti-aging products so today I am going to test and review the cream for you.
Before I talk about my experience with L’Oréal’s Revitalift Filler here is what it’s all about. The Revitalift Filler is a revolumising anti-aging care with highly concentrated hyaluronic acid [HA] for visibly plumper, revolumised skin. But the question remains, what does this hyaluronic acid actually do? Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance produced by the body which provides the skin with moisture. During the aging process the level of natural hyaluronic acid decreases. That’s why the skin loses its elasticity and wrinkles appear.
On to my personal experience with the Revitalift Filler. Face creams always make it or brake it with me depending on the texture, how quickly it sinks in and how my skin feels under it. One of my massive no-gos is if my skin starts to sweat underneath the cream. I feel that if that’s the case then it must be clogging up my pores and it just feels icky and uncomfortable. According to the texture, the time it takes to sink in and the feel of it I am very impressed with L’Oréal’s new product. The cream is very light and smooth but still feels very nourishing and plumping without making me sweat. After applying the cream every morning to my face for a while I did feel that my skin was very hydrated and smooth but I must say that as I do not have any wrinkles yet I cannot judge how well the cream fills in wrinkles.
All in all I would definitely recommend the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler [HA] if you are looking for a high quality face cream that feels fantastic and hydrates your skin substantially!
