Following my two previous blog posts on Kiko Milano’s Capsule Collections which you can find here I am delighted to introduce you to their 6th collection which is called Candy Split. As you may already know from reading my other posts Kiko is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. To honour this milestone they’ve designed seven limited edition capsule collections in cooperation with seven international designers. The Candy Split Collection is based on the fascinating world of a confectionary and the sweets which are created there. The designer who made this delicious looking collection come to life is Nicolò Beretta who is the founder of the shoe brand Giannico. Now let’s take a closer look at some of the sweet candy inspired products.First of all this fun makeup bag is a part of the collection and absolutely perfect for storing the colourful Candy Split products in. In these two cute little tubes you’ll find one of the Candy Split Eyeshadows and the Eye & Brow Glossifier. The Cream Eyeshadow comes in four different shades of which I’m wearing the shade 03 Golden Sorbet in the look below. The Eyeshadow is super blendable and has a stunning dazzling finish. For even more glamour you can apply the Eye & Brow Glossifier on top which will give you that fashionable wet-look. My favourite product from this collection has got to be the Eye Pencil in the shade 03 Sweet Milk Mint. The colour is absolutely stunning and makes the eyes pop instantly. Also the texture of the eye liners is very soft and easy to apply whilst also lasting for a long time and keeping its stunning opaqueness. If you prefer something a little more subtle then give the shade 04 Chewy Liquorice a try. Lastly the collection also contains four hot lipstick shades of which I tried 01 Cherished Rose and 03 Violet Glaze. Unfortunately Cherished Rose didn’t look great on me because that pink tone just doesn’t work with my skin tone. I did however like Violet Glaze especially as the texture of the lipstick is so amazing. It practically melts when you apply it and it gets this gorgeous glossy finish. Here’s the final look!
What do you think of the Candy Split Capsule Collection?
