Dr. Hauschka Autumn & Winter Products 2016

I know it’s been a while since I’ve written a post about Dr. Hauschka products but today I’ve finally gotten around to trying out their new autumn and winter products as well as their limited edition Welcome Back makeup products. Before I dive into the makeup look though I want to talk about the Moor Lavender Calming Body Oil, Spruce Warming Bath Essence and the Hydrating Cream Mask.

The following three products are all perfect for the colder autumn and winter months when we have to take special care of our skin. The Moor Lavender Calming Body Oil creates a layer of protection which keeps you warm on an especially frosty day. The natural lavender oil unfolds a subtle scent which calms and relaxes you and can even help you sleep better. All you need to do is apply it on your damp skin after a long hot bath. Apart from the amazing scent I am very impressed with how quickly the oil sinks in so that you can quickly put your pyjamas on and hop into bed.

Of course with the body oil for after the bath one also needs the perfect bath essence. Dr. Hauschka’s Spruce Warming Bath Essence has the resinous scent of the spruce needle and helps calm you down. It is also great to clear out your sinuses if you have a cold.

I often get dry and dehydrated skin in winter. So once to twice a week I like to treat my skin to a nourishing mask such as the Hydrating Cream Mask from Dr. Hasuchka. This mask nourishes the skin intensively, strengthens the skins protective coat and regenerates sustainably. The mask contains valuable oils such as almond oil, avocado oil and jojoba oil. I usually apply the mask just after I wake up so that it has twenty minutes to sink in before I wash it off under the shower as it does need quite some cleansing to get off. You can even apply a little bit on top your usual moisturiser for during the day as a protective coat agains the cold.

Next up I want to show you the limited edition Dr. Hauschka Welcome Back makeup products. The limited edition products include the Eyeshadowpalette 02, Kajal Eyeliner Duo 06 Berry/Black, Illuminating Powder, Matte & Shimmer Blush Trio and Lip Gloss 06 Blackberry.

When I do my makeup I usually start with the eyes because if it gets a little messy you can clean it up while you’re applying your foundation. From the Eyeshadowpalette 02 I first of all highlighted with shade 1 below the arch of my eyebrow and the inner corner of my eye as well as applying a foundation on the eyelid. With the lavender shade (3) I created a subtle base and emphasised the outer corners with the darker shade 4. For a more dramatic look you can use the second shade too by applying more colour to the outer corner of your eye lid. As you can see in the image below I used the Kajal Eyeliner Duo 06 Berry/Black to define my eyes. I used the black end all around the eye creating a double lined wing on the outer corner.

I love nothing more than a gorgeous highlighter like the Illuminating Powder. I applied it to the bridge of my nose, cheekbones, chin, forehead and cupids bow. With the Matte & Shimmer Blush Trio I added some colour to my cheeks. blush-copy

My favourite part in my makeup routine is doing the lips. For this look I used Dr. Hauschka’s Lip Gloss 06 Blackberry which gives a subtle berry shimmer which is perfect for autumn and winter.

Have you tried the Dr. Hauschka autumn/winter products and their Welcome Back makeup products?
