BYS Christmas Makeup Look

all makeup smallSix days till Christmas! I am so looking forward to it. 🙂
Today I’ve done a Christmas makeup look with BYS cosmetics which can be bought here. To be honest I am not quite sure yet what my final look will be for New Year’s Eve and Christmas day. I am still going back and forth between a classic gold look or something more colourful like this blue version. Let me know in the comments what your favourite Christmas colours are.

Eyes nr 1

To begin with I contoured my face with the Contour Trio 01 Sassy by highlighting below my eyes, my lips and my brow arch. I applied the contour shade just underneath my cheekbones and on my temples. To give my cheeks a subtle glow is applied the blush on my cheekbones.

For filling in my brows I took the Brown Brow Liner which is a gorgeous coffee tone that is neither too dark nor too light.

Eyes 2
For this look I used various shades from the BYS 01 Intense Pigments, the Matte Eyeshadow and the Glitter Eye Crème 01 You Can Dig It palettes.
With a fluffy shadow brush I applied the denim blue tone from the Matte Eyeshadow palette in the crease of the eye forming a wing towards the outer edge. The similar denim glittery shade from the Intense Pigments palette gave the dark blue a gorgeous shimmer. On the inner side I dabbed on plenty of the silver glitter eye crème. As eye liner I took the black shade from the Matte Eyeshadow palette and dotted it on with a flat and narrow brush.

For the lips I chose three different colours depending on the time of day and mood.
If you’re going for something subtle and sweet, why not try the Matte Lipstick Ooh La La. The Matte Disco Inferno is great for a more bold look but without being too over the top and in your face.
My personal favourite because I am crazy about purple lipsticks is the Longwear Lipstick Leading Lady.

Which is your favourite?

In my humble opinion, both styles look great so what about the classic gold look for Xmas and the glittery blue for New Year. Love your posts.

Thank you! 🙂 Good idea! In the next few day I’ll upload a Laura Mercier tutorial on YouTube which could also be an option for Christmas, so stay tuned. 🙂
