Bronze Goddess Estée Lauder Makeup Look

All products copy small

I used to always think that looking golden and radiant was only something tanned people could achieve. So up until now I’ve stayed far away from bronzers and the sort. However at Estée Lauder‘s Summer event this year my goodie bag was filled with products from their Bronze Goddess line and I couldn’t get around giving them a try. From this day on I am a bronzer, highlighter and blush lover. Estée Lauder thoroughly convinced me but see for yourself.

For this simple Summer look I started off by doing my eyebrows with the Estée Lauder Brow Now All-In-One Brow Kit in the shade 01 Blonde. The kit contains a brush, tweezers and two brow powders. I used the lighter shade to fill in my brows and was amazed at how different the colour looks applied than in the box. Be sure to try the different shades out before you go ahed and buy them so you don’t get a shock when you get home. Luckily I think the colour looks absolutely gorgeous and much better applied than in the kit.
For the eyelashes I first plumped them with the Little Black Primer before glueing on the fake lashes. I am very critical when it comes to mascara because I hate nothing more than clumpy mascara or when the wand is impossible to use. I’ve so far tried two of Estée Lauder’s mascaras and both have convinced me.

Moving right on to the light contouring I did with the bronzers, blush and highlighters. From the Bronze Goddess line I started with the Summer Glow Illuminator which is a liquid highlighter. I simply dotted a few drops on the highest point of my cheekbones and blended it in. The Illuminator is absolutely stunning. It’s got golden shimmering pigments which really make the high points of your face stand out. Also from the Bronze Goddess line is the Powder Bronzer in 01 Light. This I used in the hollow of my cheeks for that Kim K contour. To highlight and contour the bridge of my nose, temples, forehead and chin I used the Bronze Goddess Summer Glow Multi-Palette. First of all, have you seen this gorgeous packaging? I love the whole set and especially the way the powders have been pressed. The blush and highlighter both have a slight shimmer which makes them perfect for that summer glow. I preferred using these for the finer contour because they aren’t as harsh and I was able to apply them more precisely.

In the photo below you can also see the outside of the Summer Glow Multi-Palette.
The last product I used for this look is the Pure Color Lip and Cheek Summer Glow in the shade 01 Peach Glow. I am not a huge fan of peachy or coral colours on myself so I probably wouldn’t have bought this shade. For this makeup look I do however think that it matches quite well. I did not only apply the gloss to the lips but first also a layer of the stick which I assume would actually be meant for the cheeks. The gloss itself wasn’t very pigmented but as a combo I rather like the effect. As always with Estée Lauder the quality is excellent which by now goes without saying. Cheek copy small
